More About US

Drew Clark

Drew Clark is a Licensed Educational Psychologist who has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families for more than 20 years. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Drew brings a multidisciplinary background to his work, with training in clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, and school psychology. His extensive experience as a school psychologist also gives him a unique understanding of how psychological, developmental, educational, and family factors interact across different stages of life.

Drew specializes in the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental conditions, including ADHD and other executive functioning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and learning disabilities. His clinical approach incorporates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, while remaining practical, collaborative, and focused on each client’s individual needs.

At the heart of Drew’s approach is the belief that meaningful change often begins with greater clarity. Rather than simply telling clients what they should do, he uses a solution-focused approach that helps people examine challenges from new perspectives, recognize their strengths, and identify practical paths forward. He has found that asking the right questions can help clients better understand themselves, clarify what matters to them, and make changes that are both meaningful and sustainable.

Anita Clark

Anita Clark is a Licensed Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she brings six years of clinical experience and a broad counseling psychology background to her work. Her areas of specialization include trauma-related disorders, ADHD and executive functioning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and personality disorders, as well as the psychological assessment and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.

Anita is trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. This allows her to tailor treatment to the needs, experiences, and goals of each individual rather than relying on a single approach to therapy.

As a Certified Health and Wellness Professional, Anita takes a holistic view of psychological well-being. She recognizes that emotional health does not exist in isolation and considers the ways physical health, lifestyle, nutrition, relationships, and psychological functioning can influence one another. Her integrative approach draws from multiple therapeutic modalities to help clients understand the factors affecting their well-being, build practical skills, and work toward healthier and more sustainable patterns in their lives.

Flexible Ways to Receive Care

We understand that where services take place can be an important part of making care accessible, comfortable, and effective. Provident Pathways Psychological Services offers several options based on the type of service, clinical needs, and individual circumstances.

San Luis Obispo Office

Our San Luis Obispo office provides a comfortable, private setting for psychological assessment, therapy, consultation, and other services. In-person appointments are available for children, adolescents, and adults when an office setting is the most appropriate fit.

Telehealth

For clients who prefer the convenience and flexibility of meeting remotely, many of our services are available through secure telehealth. Telehealth can make it easier to incorporate care into busy schedules while allowing clients to participate from the comfort and privacy of their own environment. Availability depends on the service being provided and whether telehealth is clinically appropriate.

In-Home Concierge Services

When circumstances or clinical needs make an office visit less practical—or when seeing a client in their natural environment may enhance the service—we may provide in-home concierge services. Depending on the individual need, this may include psychological assessment, consultation, behavioral support, or other individualized services.

Concierge services are arranged on a case-by-case basis and are subject to location, provider availability, and the nature of the service requested. Our goal is to provide thoughtful flexibility while ensuring that each service is delivered in a setting that supports effective and appropriate care.

We believe that financial considerations should be discussed clearly and openly so that you understand your options before beginning services. Provident Pathways accepts private-pay clients as well as eligible CenCal Health members.

Private Pay & Insurance Reimbursement

Clients may choose to pay directly for services. For clients with insurance plans that include out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill containing the information needed to submit a claim to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Reimbursement varies by insurance plan, deductible, and the type of service provided. We encourage clients to contact their insurance provider to determine their specific out-of-network mental health benefits and reimbursement requirements.

CenCal Health

We accept CenCal Health for covered services when eligibility, authorization, and other applicable requirements are met. Coverage may vary depending on the service requested, so we will help clarify whether the services you are seeking can be provided through your CenCal Health benefits.

Flexible Payment Arrangements

We recognize that the cost of psychological services can sometimes create a financial burden, particularly when more extensive assessment or treatment is needed. When appropriate, we are willing to discuss individualized payment arrangements that allow clients to divide their financial responsibility over an agreed-upon period.

Our goal is to be transparent about costs while working collaboratively with clients to identify reasonable payment options whenever possible.
